The fine print.

EMBR is a look-development system for DaVinci Resolve (an OFX plugin, PowerGrade, and DCTL toolset built on film physics), authored by JVKE and sold by Juice Pouch Labs LLC (“we,” “us”). By purchasing or using EMBR, you agree to these terms. Questions: jake@jvke.us.

EMBR is a digital product for DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 or later: the EMBR Film FX plugin (OFX), a PowerGrade, a set of DCTL tools, and a guided walkthrough video. It is delivered as a download plus a license key that activates the plugin, and a hosted video link. No physical product ships.

When you buy EMBR you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for you, the individual buyer, to install and use it on your own machines, including on paid commercial and client projects. The plugin activates on a limited number of machines at a time; you can deactivate a machine from inside the plugin to move a seat. The grade you produce with EMBR is yours; deliver it to your clients freely. Film stocks you author and save with EMBR are yours too, including to share with other EMBR users.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, share, or repackage EMBR or any of its files (the plugin, PowerGrade, DCTLs, or walkthrough), share your license key, or present EMBR’s tools or training as your own product. The work you make is yours; the EMBR files and training are not.

The personal license belongs to one named artist: you. It covers you whether you buy it yourself or through your own company, and a sole-operator business buying for its one artist counts as an individual. Studio seats apply when the license is held by an organization for use across its artists, on shared machines, or by staff: each seat is licensed to the organization and may be reassigned between its artists. EMBR is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Lite is $79 and Pro is $499; see the pricing page. Prices are in USD and may change over time. Payment, sales tax and VAT, invoicing, and license delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, and your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy’s terms.

EMBR is delivered digitally, immediately after payment: a download link and license key on your order page, plus a link to the walkthrough video.

Because EMBR is a digital product delivered immediately, all sales are final. If EMBR won’t install or work for you, email jake@jvke.us and we’ll make it right, with a fix or a refund. Where consumer law requires a refund regardless (for example certain EU and UK purchases), Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record will honor it.

EMBR requires DaVinci Resolve Studio 18 or later, on macOS and Windows. Please confirm your system meets these requirements before purchase. EMBR is provided “as is,” without warranty that it will suit every workflow or produce a specific result on your footage.

EMBR (the plugin, PowerGrade, DCTL tools, walkthrough, name, and brand) is the intellectual property of Juice Pouch Labs LLC and JVKE, and remains so. Your license does not transfer any ownership.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Juice Pouch Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of EMBR. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

We may update these terms, or EMBR’s pricing and features, over time. Changes apply going forward, never retroactively to a purchase you’ve already made.
